The concert and beach event of the summer is almost here and—best of all—it’s free to the public!
99.5 The Wave is proud to bring you Ocean Fest 2026, a weekend-long celebration of music, art, surfing, and everything coastal culture! This year we’re bringing you all kinds of amazing acts you’ve been listening to on our very station! Like who, you ask? Well…

The fun doesn’t end at the concert either, Ocean Fest is also bringing to the NC shores a vintage surf contest on authentic retro surfboards, a 5k race, yoga on the beach, and a kids zone with all kinds of great fun and interactive lessons about marine life!
And what’s more, it’s all eco-friendly with ZERO waste and all biodegradable materials! Ocean Fest is all about celebrating what it means to live on and enjoy the coast, and that means protecting its health and keeping it 100% clean so we can experience its beauty to the fullest! In 2023, Ocean Fest had over 10,000 people in attendance and only produced six trash bags worth of trash!!
And did we mention it’s FREE?
